Head of Swine Health Division / Member of the Management Board (m/f/d)
Tasks:
· As head of the SGD division and a member of the management team, you and your 15 employees are responsible for maintaining the health of Switzerland\\’s pig population.
· You will lead and coordinate two teams at three SGD locations and maintain contacts with potential foreign customers
· As a member of the management team, you will play a decisive role in the business development of the entire SUISAG, influence corporate strategy, supervise and manage projects of strategic importance, and thus develop the markets of the future
· As a manager, you are guided by a modern, transformational management style, thus building trust and giving employees the chance to actively shape the future.
· You maintain contacts in Switzerland and abroad, with authorities and universities.
· As a member of various expert commissions, you actively represent the interests of SUISAG and contribute your expertise.
· Your reporting line is directly to the managing director.
Requirements:
· You have a university degree in agronomy, agriculture, veterinary medicine or a similar field
· In addition to professional expertise, a strong entrepreneurial orientation is desired.
· Several years of experience in a managerial position and as a project manager are required.
· Do you have an extensive national and/or international network in the fields of animal health, animal production or similar areas
· A convincing personality, coupled with exceptional foresight, a high level of commitment, resilience and a competent manner are what distinguish you
· Fluent and business-fluent German and French or English are required
